-What is Ice & water/ eaves protection? 

This is an underlayment with an adhesive backing that will be used on your eaves/valleys to prevent ice damming. When roofing, this barrier can make the difference in preventing water damage and wood rot vs having mild problems in the future.

-What is ice damming?

An ice dam is a ridge of ice that forms at the edge of roof and prevents melting snow(water) from draining off the roof. The water that backs up behind the dam can leak into a home and cause damage to the walls, ceilings, insulation, and other areas.

-What is Synthetic underlayment? 

Synthetic underlayment is said to be 25x stronger than your standard 30lb felt paper and provides better breathability for your roof and is more versatile to handle for installers.

-What happens if you encounter wood rot or plywood that needs replacing?

My motto for plywood replacement is that if it won't last the lifetime of the new shingles it should be replaced. 

-What is the process if any property gets damaged?

Care for customer property is in our top 3 values. Our first step is to document. Second step is to match or repair. Third step is to install. We'd like to say it'll never happen, however if it does we take all necessary steps to ensure your property is in the same, if not better condition when we leave site upon completion.

-How do I choose a contractor?

When choosing a contractor you typically want to see if they can provide a portfolio, references, and see what kind of reviews they have if they have a webpage.

How do I know if my quote is fair?

- When you're getting quotes, to get 5. one will always be over inflated, one will always be underbid, and you should be left with 3 that are in the same ballpark. Those 3 would be your ideal choices, then you just need to narrow them down.

Do you carry liability insurance or wcb coverage?

-A professional company will carry both. It is your contractor's responsibility to ensure they're protecting your interests as well as their own.

Are you bonded?

Definitely! while not all businesses will have this coverage, it is recommended. this ensures that if you're having work done for say 25k that if for whatever reason work is not finished, something happens that prevents contractors from fulfilling their duties,or say materials are damaged or stolen they will be covered. These examples are just that and not to be taken out of context.

How long will the job take?

Every job is different and dependant on a variety of things

2.Damages i.e wood rot replacement, unforeseen structural damages, other components of the system.

3.Skill and crew size

4.But typically 1-2 days for 1000-1500sq ft, 2-4 days per 1500-2500 sq ft, and 4-6 days 2500-4000+ sq ft on average
